Harlyn Solutions, based in Blyth, has been appointed by Ocean Winds to handle essential elements of the Moray West offshore wind farm. Ocean Winds, a joint venture between ENGIE and EDP Renewables, selected Harlyn for their proven capability in managing subsea cables effectively. This strategic partnership highlights the trust placed in Harlyn to deliver key logistical services vital for the wind farm’s success.
Harlyn has a history of managing large cargo, enhancing their capability to execute such substantial projects. Their previous work with Moray West, including transporting substations and cleaning monopiles, supports their integral role in this ongoing venture.
Managing Director Hamish Adamson expressed satisfaction with this progress, stating that their “problem-solving approach” is increasingly recognised. Harlyn’s dedication to maintaining high standards underscores its success in the industry.
