A transformative housing project has commenced in Swindon, aiming to create a vibrant community. The ambitious Lotmead development will comprise 2,500 new homes.
Work has officially started on the Lotmead development, a collaborative initiative between Vistry Group and Sovereign Network Group (SNG). This significant project, located on a 417-acre site near Wanborough Road, promises to deliver substantial residential and community benefits. The development marks a pivotal step in addressing Swindon’s housing needs.
The initial phase, named King George Park, covers 39 acres in the southwest corner of the site. It will feature 214 homes, including both private and affordable options.
Vistry’s Bovis Homes brand will oversee 153 private properties, while SNG is responsible for 61 affordable homes. The targeted completion for the first phase is 2025.
