J Lindeberg, the Swedish ready-to-wear and golfwear brand, has appointed Alexander Diedrich as the new head of ecommerce. This appointment is effective from 1 September 2024. Diedrich, an experienced professional in the field, previously spearheaded ecommerce activities for Levi Strauss in Northern Europe since September 2022.
Before his tenure at Levi Strauss, Diedrich also developed ecommerce strategies for Toms and Under Armour from 2021 to 2022 and 2019 to 2021, respectively. His extensive background includes leadership roles that have honed his skills in managing global digital sales platforms, which will be instrumental in his new position.
Diedrich expressed enthusiasm, stating: “I’m very humbled by the opportunity to join one of Scandinavia’s most iconic sport fashion brands and help fuel the growth of global ecommerce.” He acknowledged the trust placed in him by J Lindeberg’s chief sales officer Kalle Kickuth and CEO Hans-Christian Meyer.
Kalle Kickuth, who became J Lindeberg’s chief sales officer in December 2023, also expressed optimism about Diedrich’s future contributions. He highlighted Diedrich’s broad international experience as a valuable asset for enhancing the company’s digital sales and retail strategies. “This is an exciting time for the company, and I can’t wait to see how Alexander, together with his talented team, will elevate our digital consumer experience worldwide,” Kickuth stated.
The decision for Diedrich to relocate from Amsterdam, where he has lived for five years, to Stockholm, further signifies the importance of his role at J Lindeberg’s headquarters. Stockholm serves as a central hub for the brand as it seeks to expand its digital reach and improve its ecommerce operations.
