Today marked the opening of Alo Yoga’s latest flagship store in the heart of London on the iconic Regent Street. This expansive 10,000 sq ft retail space signifies the brand’s commitment to expanding its presence in the UK market. Founded in 2007 by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge, Alo Yoga has grown from yoga-specific attire to a broader range of activewear categories.
This new Regent Street location will feature the brand’s complete collection of men’s and women’s activewear, loungewear, including its popular joggers and trainers, alongside a variety of accessories and wellness products. The aim is to provide customers not just with products but with an experiential space that reflects Alo’s values of fashion, performance, and mindfulness.
As Harris articulated, “We look forward to becoming a part of the vibrant London community and bringing our unique blend of fashion, performance, and mindfulness to this iconic city.” The store is designed to be more than just a shopping destination; it serves as a venue for fostering connections with customers and promoting a mindful lifestyle.
With this opening, Alo Yoga plans to continue its expansion by launching two additional stores in London by the end of the year. A 6,070 sq ft location is planned for Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, and a 5,000 sq ft store is slated for Covent Garden. These new locations will further cement the brand’s presence in the UK’s capital city.
Alo Yoga is supported by a strong distribution network, including high-end retailers like Selfridges, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, and Net-a-Porter, which aligns with its image of quality and style in the competitive athleisure market.
Alo Yoga’s strategic expansion in London underscores its dedication to growing its community and enhancing brand visibility in the UK.
