AO World has announced its intention to purchase MusicMagpie, a well-regarded second-hand tech recycler, for £9.98 million. This strategic acquisition is designed to expand AO World’s presence in the mobile and consumer technology sectors. The transaction has received unanimous support from MusicMagpie’s board, who have recommended the offer, expecting it to be finalised by early 2025.
