The fashion industry has witnessed a significant development with Castore being recognised as the fastest-growing fashion business in the United Kingdom. With a 159.92% two-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR), Castore has demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving a turnover of £115 million in 2024. This achievement places Castore at the forefront of the retail sector, both in terms of overall retail and specifically within the fashion domain.
Following close behind, Passenger Clothing, known for its sustainable outdoor clothing, secured the position of the second-fastest-growing fashion business in the UK. The brand reported a 111.14% CAGR, reaching a turnover of £34.3 million. Meanwhile, Nobody’s Child, a womenswear brand, experienced a 102.87% CAGR, bringing their turnover to £26 million.
Moss Bros and Me & Em, specialised in menswear and contemporary clothing respectively, were ranked fourth and fifth. Moss Bros recorded a 99.94% CAGR with a turnover of £151.6 million, while Me & Em’s growth reached 93.67% CAGR, resulting in a turnover of £82 million.
The Interpath Retail Index, backed by Oresa executive search, recognises various other top performers in the fashion industry. This includes brands such as Sosandar, Apricot, and Harvey Nichols, among others. These businesses have shown considerable growth, further strengthening the UK’s dynamic fashion landscape.
Mark Raddan and Orlando Martins, respective leaders from Interpath and Oresa, have praised the retailers’ efforts, highlighting their growth in developing jobs and boosting the economy. Notably, a substantial portion of the top retail companies achieved growth without relying on external funding, which indicates a solid base for future growth opportunities.
