The Co-op has undertaken an impressive expansion of its member deals, tripling the number of promotions available to its shoppers. This substantial change is set to roll out over 100 new offers each month, extending through to the end of 2024. Such a move signifies a remarkable increase of 252% in the offers provided to members by the convenience retailer.
This initiative includes a diverse range of promotions, featuring both branded and own-brand products. These deals are set to refresh and rotate every three weeks. The introduction of these frequent new deals aims to continually offer appealing choices to Co-op members, significantly enhancing the value they receive.
Among the most notable deals are Co-op’s £5 Freezer Filler and Fresh Three, focusing on fresh fruit and vegetable offers. For the remainder of September into early October, members are afforded the opportunity to save on a selection of highly sought-after products, including Ben & Jerry’s ice cream tubs, Cathedral City cheese, and Carlsberg. Additionally, there is a premium meal deal available, featuring a main, a side, and a bottle of wine for just £10.
Adele Balmforth, the Co-op’s propositions director, expressed confidence in these improvements, stating: “Offering great value to our shoppers as a convenience retailer is a priority for us, and we’re thrilled to be supercharging our member deals for the rest of the year, with even more market-leading offers to be found across our 2,400 stores alongside those much-loved promotional favourites.”
Earlier in the year, Co-op also expanded member price benefits to its online platform, a move aimed at bolstering membership growth. Members now have access to identical price advantages online as they would in-store, with these benefits also being extended to Co-op’s rapid delivery partners.
Through these dynamic initiatives, Co-op continues to enhance the shopping experience for its members significantly.
