Flannels has officially opened its latest flagship store in Leeds, strengthening its ambition to make luxury accessible across the nation. This store, described as one of the most ‘disruptive’ in its lineup, is located alongside its other prestigious locations in London, Leicester, Liverpool, Sheffield, and Newcastle. Spanning over six floors, it covers an impressive 70,000 square feet, offering extensive retail space.
This flagship is designed to be more than just a traditional retail store. It is envisaged as a centre for style, self-expression, and discovery, catering specifically to the city’s luxury enthusiasts. According to David Epstein, Managing Director of Premium and Luxury at Frasers Group, the Leeds store is ‘redefining the experience for the savvy luxury consumer in this region.’
The store boasts various sections, including a luxury accessories hall, beauty hall, and a Flannels home department. The basement features Flannels active, while the upper floors are dedicated to womenswear and menswear. This diverse product range underscores the brand’s comprehensive approach to luxury retail.
Additionally, the store has integrated a luxury reseller, Sellier, which had previously been introduced through pop-up stores at other Flannels locations. It also includes a personal shopping suite complete with dedicated personal shoppers, a new tailoring service, and a separate section for kidswear known as Flannels junior.
The development of this new flagship has also had a positive impact on employment in the area. The relocation of 35 staff members to this venue is augmented by the creation of 150 new jobs, reflecting the company’s investment in human resources. Epstein highlights that this flagship is ‘a testament to the group’s steadfast commitment to luxury’, offering everything from luxury fashion to personal shopping and lifestyle amenities such as gym and café areas.
The Leeds flagship opening solidifies Flannels’ role as a leading force in luxury retail across the United Kingdom.
