Four Marketing, backed by Frasers Group, has taken full ownership of the UK fashion brand A Cold Wall, marking the brand’s second ownership transition this year. This development follows the brand’s sale by Tomorrow Limited, a London-based brand accelerator, which acquired it only months earlier.
In February, A Cold Wall was sold to Tomorrow Limited from its founder Samuel Ross, who was recognised as part of Drapers 30 Under 30, for an undisclosed amount. This swift transition to Four Marketing demonstrates a strategic realignment for both Tomorrow and Four Marketing.
Four Marketing, renowned for its strong supply chain operations and direct-to-consumer expertise, aims to support A Cold Wall’s growth trajectory through its operational strengths. Ben Banks, co-Founder and CEO of Four Marketing, emphasized how these aspects would be crucial for the brand’s future expansion. The company manages over 20 other brands, including G-Star Raw and Stone Island.
Tomorrow Limited’s CEO Stefano Martinetto expressed confidence in this new chapter for A Cold Wall, highlighting the alignment of strategic visions between Tomorrow and Four Marketing. He noted that this exit allows Tomorrow to concentrate efforts on their remaining brand portfolio while aiding A Cold Wall’s growth in international markets.
The brand has already taken significant steps in expanding its reach with the recent opening of its flagship concept store in Shanghai, an indication of its evolving retail presence and focus on international markets.
A Cold Wall’s acquisition by Four Marketing sets a new course for its growth and brand development within the fashion industry.
