Luxury department store Harrods is commemorating its 175th anniversary by relaunching its own brand, starting with a collection of stationery and accessories. This new line is prominently displayed on the lower ground floor of the flagship Knightsbridge store. The range includes items such as shoulder bags, leather-bound notebooks, mugs, pens, and water bottles, specifically designed with holiday and gifting in mind.
Harrods has incorporated its iconic logo and architectural features from its Knightsbridge store into the design of these products. The collection will be available online from this month, providing accessibility to a broader audience.
In addition to the initial offerings, Harrods is set to expand its product range with cashmere and nightwear collections scheduled for the autumn season. Furthermore, customers can look forward to a dedicated range of Christmas gifts that will launch later in the year. The continued release of new products is planned throughout 2024 and 2025.
Michael Ward, Managing Director of Harrods, highlighted the brand’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of luxury. He stated, “The Harrods name stands for the highest standards of luxury, and Harrods own-brand products are a reflection and representation of these standards.” Ward also noted the importance of sourcing high-quality materials, including locally produced cashmere, and the focus on personalised leather-embossed stationery. The commitment to excellence is evident across Harrods’ entire product portfolio.
Harrods’ relaunch of its own brand for the 175th anniversary underscores its dedication to luxury and quality.
