Hurr has joined forces with Deliveroo to offer lightning-fast fashion rental delivery.
- This collaboration allows central London customers to receive fashion rentals within 20 minutes.
- The service applies to over 50 premium and luxury dresses from well-known brands.
- Each delivery comes with a returns label for hassle-free post-rental returns, as Deliveroo doesn’t handle returns.
- Deliveroo’s entry into the fashion sector marks a new chapter in its service diversification.
Hurr, a prominent fashion rental platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Deliveroo. This initiative is designed to provide central London customers with access to fashion rentals delivered directly to their doorsteps in as little as 20 minutes. This move contrasts with the traditional next-day delivery option that typically sees customers waiting up to 24 hours for receipt of their fashion rentals.
The on-demand delivery service offers over 50 dresses from high-end brands such as 16 Arlington, Santa Brands, Self-Portrait, Nadine Merabi, and Rixo. Each rental comes with a returns label, allowing customers to send the items back through the post once the rental period concludes. It is important to note, however, that Deliveroo currently does not facilitate the returns process directly.
Victoria Prew, the founder of Hurr, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, especially during the festive season. She stated, “You can select and rent your dresses from Hurr to your door faster than ever before, in as little as 20 minutes. Customer experience is at the heart of Hurr and this unique partnership will deliver your last minute or planned party wear looks to your door faster than fast fashion itself.”
Deliveroo’s Chief Operating Officer, Eric French, also commented on the partnership, highlighting that it represents a pioneering venture within the rental fashion market. French remarked, “It is an industry first for the rental fashion market, and will make high-end fashion even more accessible and bring a new level of luxury and convenience to our customers. This marks our first step into the fashion space, and we’re excited to welcome more partners to Deliveroo Shopping as we continue expanding the variety for our customers.”
Deliveroo’s expansion into the fashion sector follows its recent foray into on-demand delivery of select lingerie and wellness products from Ann Summers. This diversification of Deliveroo’s service offerings underscores its commitment to broadening its portfolio beyond food delivery.
The partnership between Hurr and Deliveroo sets a new precedent for rapid delivery in the fashion rental industry.
