The partnership launched with services active in 53 stores and is set to expand to over 800 Iceland and The Food Warehouse locations by the end of October. This strategic move is designed to cater to the growing consumer demand for rapid grocery delivery services.
Justin Addison, Iceland’s international and partnerships director, expressed enthusiasm for the deal, stating, “We’re dedicated to making sure our customers can enjoy our innovative, value-driven range of products, no matter where they are.” He further mentioned the past year’s growth for Iceland and The Food Warehouse as a catalyst for this partnership.

This collaboration comes shortly after Morrisons expanded its engagement with Deliveroo, including services in 500 Daily convenience stores and 390 supermarkets. This trend among retailers highlights the shifting landscape towards rapid delivery options in the grocery sector.
