Me & Em, known for luxury womenswear, has taken a significant step by opening its flagship store in London’s Marylebone Village. This move expands the brand’s presence in the UK, marking its eighth outpost. Importantly, this location on Marylebone High Street serves as the largest of Me & Em’s UK stores, covering an area of 3,826 square feet.
Interior designers Tina Vaia and Ed Milton created a distinctive environment that marries traditional and modern British design. Customers entering the store will experience contrasting materials and textures, including custom-made tiled floors reminiscent of British pubs and eclectic furniture. Clare Hornby, Me & Em’s founder and chief executive, highlights the importance of stores as a vital part of their omni-channel strategy, providing a crucial physical touchpoint for customer engagement and education.
Clare Hornby further explained the unique concept of the Marylebone store, emphasising its role in educating customers through a principle of outfit building. This concept is brought to life with bespoke rails and merchandising, aiding customers in visualising and assembling outfits. Each month, key looks from Me & Em are featured prominently on wooden display rails crafted from fallen trees sourced around London, adding a unique touch to the shopping experience.
The new flagship store in Marylebone underscores Me & Em’s commitment to enhancing customer engagement through innovative retail experiences.
