M&S has teamed up with the renowned chef Tom Kerridge to launch a new and improved Gastropub range, available both in M&S Foodhalls and on Ocado. This collaboration not only includes 25 upgraded recipes but also introduces 20 brand new lines, all of which are now part of M&S’s popular Gastropub Dine In Deal priced at £15.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of M&S’s Gastropub range, a month-long campaign is set to roll out, covering channels such as TV, video on demand, press, radio, and digital platforms. Notably, the 30-second advertisement will be featured on prominent channels like Channel 4, ITV, and Sky, particularly during popular programmes such as ‘The Great British Bake Off’ and ‘Taskmaster’.
Tom Kerridge, along with M&S chefs and suppliers, has invested significant time over several years to perfect the dishes, including experimenting with over 160 pie recipes. Kerridge’s passion for quality and creativity is evident in the new offerings, which are crafted to provide a superior dining-at-home experience.
In a move to diversify its engagement with customers, M&S is launching its first podcast, named the ‘Proper Taste Pub Quiz’, hosted by Tom Kerridge and Chris Stark. The podcast will air on various streaming platforms, offering 36 episodes annually and featuring celebrity guests to enhance its appeal.
Sharry Cramond, M&S’s Marketing and Loyalty Director, stated that the partnership with Tom Kerridge brings the culinary experience from M&S’s kitchen right to the customers’ homes, highlighting the use of premium ingredients akin to those found in chef kitchens. Kerridge expressed his excitement about bringing comforting classic dishes with modern twists to life, leveraging the high-quality produce sourced from M&S’s network of farmers and suppliers.
