The renowned tea manufacturer Twinings has expanded its product offerings with a new Sparkling Tea range, blending tea and botanicals with sparkling water and fruit juices. This new product line is enriched with essential vitamins and minerals and is available in three distinct flavours: Defence, Refresh, and Boost. Each variant is crafted with a specific combination of ingredients, such as Chinese green tea leaves with orange, passionfruit, and elderberry for Defence, whilst Refresh combines raspberry lemonade and hibiscus with Chinese white tea. Notably, the Boost variant features lemon, ginger, and lemon balm with Indian black tea leaves. All these offerings are free from artificial sweeteners and colours, lack added sugar, and contain under 50 calories per can. The Sparkling Tea range is available at various retailers, including Amazon and Waitrose, with a recommended retail price of £1.89 per can.
NIO Cocktails is diversifying its portfolio with the release of two lower ABV cocktails. These include the Cosmopolitan Next, comprising 1883 Cranberry Syrup, Cointreau, and Ketel One Vodka, and the White Lady Next, which includes Tanqueray Gin Zero, Cointreau, and 1883 Lime Syrup. With an alcohol by volume of 10.8%, these cocktails are accessible via NIO’s website at a price of £19.50 for a pack of three. Also, other flavours such as the traditional Margarita and Espresso Martini are available through John Lewis, priced at £6.50 each.
The British-made CBD drink brand Skip is making waves with its introduction of three sparkling beverage variants: Peach & Ginger, Elderflower & Mint, and Lemon & Basil. Each 250ml can contains 5mg of cold-pressed active CBD, combined with fruit juices and botanicals. Skip differentiates itself by adhering to UK regulations and offers products free of soya lecithin. The range is priced between £1.79 and £2.99 per can, with four-packs available at £6. Skip is currently in discussions with major UK retailers to expand its market presence.
