In a bid to support its customers during the financially demanding summer months, One Stop has initiated a price lock on over 85 products. The array includes fresh foods, alcoholic beverages, and staple household items. Among these, notable own-label products feature items such as strawberry jam, unsalted butter, and tikka masala cooking sauce, extending to apple and blackcurrant squash, salt and vinegar crisps, and broccoli.
This strategic price lock is a component of One Stop’s broader ‘Low Everyday Prices’ campaign, emphasizing affordability across essential consumables. Marianne Aitken, One Stop’s head of product, articulates the company’s intent: ‘We want to help customers’ money go further and we don’t want them to have to hunt for great value – they can find everything they need at their local One Stop at fantastic locked-in prices.’
The price lock campaign does not only cover own-label products but includes well-known branded items. Products such as Lucozade, Green Giant sweetcorn, Arla semi-skimmed milk, Dairylea Dunkers jumbo tubes, and Warburtons breakfast muffins are part of this initiative, showcasing the retailer’s commitment to providing competitive pricing across a wide range of goods.
Moreover, One Stop’s sustainability efforts are underscored by their partnership with Veolia. The retailer has achieved closed-loop recycling on its own-label milk bottles, a move projected to recycle over 380,000 bottles annually. This highlights One Stop’s dedication to not only offering value but also promoting environmental responsibility.
The comprehensive price lock initiative by One Stop demonstrates a commitment to both consumer savings and sustainable practices.
