Phase Eight, a well-regarded womenswear brand, has unveiled a substantially larger store in Dartford’s Bluewater shopping centre. The new store, which is 336% larger than the previous outlet, now measures 2,499 square feet. This considerable increase in space represents a strategic move by Phase Eight to enhance its retail offerings and customer experience.
The expanded store offers an impressive variety of Phase Eight’s collections, catering to diverse customer needs. Shoppers can now explore not only the main ready to wear line but also the petite collection, childrenswear, bridal and bridesmaid attire, as well as the exclusive Collection 8. Such a comprehensive array of products was not feasible in the smaller former location, making this expansion a key milestone for the brand.
Phase Eight’s retail strategy underpins this enlargement, reflecting a broader commitment to growth. Having initiated this strategy last year, the brand successfully opened 13 stores across the UK and Europe, and this recent development at Bluewater marks one of several upcoming openings. The company plans to extend its reach further with new stores expected in Bury St Edmunds, Dublin, Glasgow, and Hamburg later this year.
Caraline Money, the group’s retail director, expressed optimism about the new location. She highlighted the opportunity to showcase the full range of the brand’s offerings, including limited-edition collections previously unavailable at Bluewater. James Waugh, Bluewater’s centre director, commented on Phase Eight’s enduring presence, having traded there for over two decades, and conveyed enthusiasm over the wider selection now accessible to its visitors.
The new Phase Eight store at Bluewater exemplifies the brand’s strategic expansion and enhanced customer offerings.
