Russell & Bromley, a distinguished British footwear company with a rich 140-year history, has taken a significant step by appointing its first creative director, Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw. Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw commenced his career in 2011 as an in-house production manager for designer Christopher Raeburn. His career trajectory saw a steady rise, culminating in his role as design director at Hunter Boots in 2017 and later, vice-president of design at Sweaty Betty between 2021 and 2022. Most recently, he was the design director at Accessorize, where he managed the design for diverse categories including jewellery, clothing, and prints until March 2024.
In his new position at Russell & Bromley, Beardsworth-Shaw will lead the brand’s product and visual identity initiatives. He will report directly to CEO Andrew Bromley, who has highlighted the importance of this appointment in strengthening Russell & Bromley’s reputation and expanding its global business.
