Selfridges has transformed its Oxford Street store into a Christmas spectacle, showcasing its 2024 festive window displays. The installation features an extraordinary arrangement of 36,000 baubles and five kilometres of garland, vividly illuminated by 15,000 LED lights. This ambitious display embodies the retailer’s theme for the year, ‘More the Merrier!’, cultivating an immersive festive experience.
The central concept aims to create a vibrant Christmas destination, featuring imaginative decor elements such as giant disco balls and ‘Christmas Crackers’ alongside Santa Claus himself. This installation, replete with oversized tinsel sculptures and scenes reminiscent of classic Christmas grottos, brings an enchanting holiday narrative to life for shoppers.
