Former executives of Joules and The White Company join Seraphine’s leadership team.
- Jonathon Brown, ex-CEO of Joules, takes over as interim CEO of Seraphine.
- Mary Homer, former CEO of The White Company, is appointed as non-executive director.
- The leadership changes follow Seraphine’s delisting from the London Stock Exchange.
- The team aims to enhance product and service quality under experienced leadership.
In a strategic move, Seraphine has recruited former industry leaders to fortify its executive team. Jonathon Brown, who previously led Joules during its acquisition by Next, has been appointed interim CEO of the maternitywear brand. This decision follows the departure of former CEO David Williams in April.
Mary Homer, who spent seven years as CEO of The White Company, joins Seraphine as a non-executive director. Her extensive experience in retail management is anticipated to provide valuable insights and strengthen Seraphine’s market position.
Both executives will collaborate closely with the Seraphine chairman, Bill Ronald, and the broader management team. Their efforts will focus on maintaining the brand’s reputation for exceptional product and service quality, aligning with the company’s ongoing goals and objectives.
Seraphine’s leadership changes come after its delisting from the London Stock Exchange in April 2023. The delisting was part of a take-private initiative orchestrated by Mayfair Equity Partners, aiming to streamline operations under private ownership.
The inclusion of seasoned leaders Brown and Homer is expected to drive Seraphine’s growth and enhance its market presence.
