Silas Adler, the visionary founder and creative director of the Danish fashion brand Soulland, has announced his departure after dedicating over two decades to the company. Established in 2002 when he was just 17, Adler has been synonymous with the brand that skillfully merges artisanship with streetwear.
Soulland, under Adler’s leadership, has been a prominent participant in Copenhagen Fashion Week since 2007. This platform has been instrumental in showcasing its unique style, further enhanced by collaborations with notable brands such as Nike, Hello Kitty, and Playboy. Such partnerships have solidified Soulland’s standing in both the fashion world and among notable stockists like End Clothing, Browns Fashion, and Ssense.
Jacob Kampp Berliner has co-led the company with Adler since 2006, playing a significant role as CEO and sales director. As of 24 June 2024, Kampp Berliner assumes full ownership and leadership of the brand. This transition marks a new chapter in Soulland’s journey.
Reflecting on his time at Soulland, Adler notes, “Soulland has been the journey of my lifetime; more than that, it has been my life since I founded the brand at the age of 17 in December 2002.” He describes the immense privilege and cherished experiences of running the brand alongside his best friend, Jacob.
