Tesco is making substantial enhancements to its Christmas delivery services for 2024. This involves an increase in the number of available delivery slots during the two weeks leading up to Christmas Day. To accommodate this, Tesco has introduced 60 additional delivery vans, thereby enhancing its overall capacity.
Moreover, the company’s rapid delivery service, Whoosh, is offering further convenience by providing thousands of extra slots available specifically on Christmas Eve. This initiative aims to meet increased demand during the festive period, ensuring customers can enjoy their holiday shopping with ease.
To gain early access to these slots, Tesco encourages customers to subscribe to the Delivery Saver plan. This plan not only allows earlier booking but can also provide significant savings on delivery and collection fees. Subscribers under this plan, as well as the click-and-collect plan, can commence booking from 6 am on 5 November.
For the general customer base, access to delivery slots will be available from 6 am on 12 November, a week earlier than in previous years. This adjustment aims to provide greater flexibility and convenience in planning holiday purchases.
Tesco’s expanded delivery strategy exemplifies its commitment to enhancing customer convenience during the 2024 festive season.
