Central to the display are pieces from ‘The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories’, which add an unexpected whimsical yet eerie twist to the holiday experience at the Knightsbridge location. Janet Wardley, head of visual display, remarked, ‘The silhouettes of trees frame both the interior and exterior, creating a captivating fantasy forest.’ The interior is adorned with specially commissioned crystal and metal trees embellished with the most sought-after gifts of the season. Mannequins sporting branch-like headpieces serve to highlight the finest partywear, seamlessly integrating high fashion with the fantastical theme.
