Waitrose has announced the promotion of Nicola Jones to the position of wine trading manager as the supermarket readies itself for the introduction of new festive wine brands. Nicola will officially take on her new responsibilities from 13 October, having dedicated 13 years to the retailer within its commercial and trading team. Her most recent role was as a category manager, showcasing her adeptness in category management and strategic planning.
Jones joins the wine division amidst a series of exciting new product developments across Waitrose’s Blueprint, Love & Found, and No.1 ranges. As she steps into her new role, her insights and experience are seen as pivotal to driving the department’s growth forward.
