Transport for Wales (TfW) has achieved a remarkable milestone with the highest passenger increase among UK train operators. Recent data from the Office for Rail and Road highlights a 27% surge in passenger numbers on TfW’s network, outpacing other operators.
Between April and June, TfW handled 1.6 million additional passengers, reaching a total of 7.6 million, compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to enhanced services, new large trains, and major events at the Principality Stadium.
Transport for Wales recorded a 27% increase in passengers, the highest among UK train operators.
